Acupressure and Massage

If you run from needles or are severely immune compromised, an elegant solution is acupressure.

Acupressure

Using Japanese Jin Shin style acupressure system, a more minimal pressure is applied to the body. Holding multiple points provides  protocols similar to an acupuncture treatment.

Deeper acupressure massage is much like Shiatsu massage, working out muscle strains, aches and pains. Acupressure can:

  • Reduce stress

  • Calm your spirit

  • Improve physical well being

  • Strengthen the immune system

  • Cultivate blood

  • Reduce fatigue

  • Manages headaches

  • Soothes digestive disorders

Tuina

Tuina is a Chinese form of massage that has been in use for over 2,000 years. Using various hand position, a rhythmic compression is applied to meridian channels while focusing on specific problem areas.

Shiatsu

In Japanese, “shi” means fingers and “atsu” means pressure. Thumb based pressure is applied along the Acupuncture meridians activating a healthy flow.  This deep form of massage was first introduced to Japan by a Buddhist Monk in the 6th century. The Japanese doctors adapted this practice over the centuries integrating abdominal massage, diagnosis and treatment.

For years I have had a numbness problem on my upper back. Every doctor, healer, masseuse, and person I went to did not nearly address the issues as thoroughly and intuitively as Eileen. She knew exactly what to do without me telling her much at all. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a traditional, holistic, and effective treatment. I left feeling balanced and happy.
